ErosTober Day 1: First Encounter

Here is my first artwork of ErosTober! I know I'm a day behind, but that's okay! This is just for fun. <3 READ BEFORE LOOKING AT PROJECT: __________________________________________ Heh heh. This is what I get for asking my friend to pick for the first day. XD Originally I was going to do a Star Wars couple I had, because their first encounter was very interesting and kind of easy for me to draw. Then I looked at the other couples I had, and 5 of them also had REALLY fun first encounters. It was too hard for me to choose! So I had my friend pick, and of course they pick the most detailed character of all my couples for me to draw. But I took the challenge, and it definitely set me behind, but that's okay! Honestly for this couple it was the best option to have them be shown first in the first encounter, because this is also my most insane couple pairing, and it would've been more shocking for you guys to just randomly see the two together with no context. XD Also, the night I shared the ErosTober project, I thought of a way to make these projects even more fun! Time-lapse! :D For these artworks I'm doing I'm gonna try and have a time-lapse of them! (I say try because I use Kleki. I can't record so this is just me saving PNGs every so often. So BE WARNED! :?O) READ AFTER LOOKING AT PROJECT: __________________________________________ Introducing... Klaus and Ruth!! :D These characters were made back in August for my post-apocalyptic robot series; Archives! Don't worry, these characters are never seen in the actual main story line, (Klaus might appear once) So there are absolutely NO SPOILERS with these two! :D Unless you count world building stuff. But honestly these two do serve as a great introduction into the world of Archives. ^^ Yes, I know how crazy it is to have a robot with a human, but it's fun to write! So leave me alone! XD But actually there is reason as to why Klaus can have such emotions. While most robots are just metal and circuits, some are semi-organic (plant like) and even have a form of biology. They need food and water like us. They can adapt, upgrade, and chance based on what they see around themselves. These alien plant-like robots are extremely curious and inquisitive. I only have made 2 robots like this; Klaus, and another that I can't say. These robots are capable of emotions, and they don't even know it! That's why it's super fun to play around writing wise, and have them be confused about what they are even feeling. (Since they were made for destruction & don't really know anything else outside of that.) So with Klaus, I am having him deal with "family emotions" It all starts with a human child that he doesn't kiIl. he doesn't even know why he didn't kiIl her. That's what he's programmed for, right? But he grows very attached & protective of this baby. One day the baby wonders off. Sending Klaus into a panic searching for her. The baby is found by a adult girl named Ruth. She can't believe her eyes. How could've a baby survived out here? So it's a very fun (and funny) back and forth between Klaus and Ruth. Klaus just wants to keep and protect the baby from EVERYTHING, and Ruth wants to protect the baby from Klaus. XD (She doesn't know that he can feel.) And so this baby is basically the best wingwoman as she keeps escaping to each of them until they finally see each other as not a threat. (And slowly become more) As they both care for the child. ^^ (Also I don't know why I named him Klaus, I just like the name.) Total Time: 9 hours & 59 minutes
