If you have the guts to stand out, then break out of bullying. My story || V
MY STORY --------------- I was bullied my whole way through primary, and my two years at secondary before I was pulled out of school due to bullying. I am now home educated and I still have all the internal scars on my heart, and now I'm self conscious, have social anxiety, and I'm still bullied by my two older brothers. I used to be a bouncy kid who loved social situations and never had anxiety and thought I looked great. I once told my mum when I was 5 years old - 'Mum, I'm going to be the happiest teenager you'll ever meet.' That never happened. Even in summer I'm covering my skin. I'm moody, I take everything to heart, and I've lost so many friends. This is what bullying can do. It will change you and leave marks on the inside but most the time you'll look fine on the outside. Whenever I say I was bullied all through school people look me up and down and say 'You don't look like you were bullied' and that makes me think, not all form of bullying can be shown on skin. This is the reason I decided to post this. Before I did, it was sat in my unshared for months as I contemplated. Then I realised, people need to know. I decided to share my story on my own terms. I will not badger anyone to share their own story if they don't want to. I don't even expect anyone to share their story. If you do then thank you for sharing and you should know you're not alone.
